Because all the people who would actually play it bought it on PC. All the 360 fellas are playing MW2, I'm guessing.

Hm, most of the people i have in my friends list because of the first one... play now the second one (without me...sigh)

But if i would buy that game i would get a cut version, i think... also it is still a bit too expensive. If it comes down to 25 Euroes or less i maybe getting it..

EDIT: Just looked it up, yeah would be cut for me (german) so i am not getting it, until there is a workaround or something.

There is a bug stopping most games from showing up at the first screen.

Go to "More search options" and tell it to find the game you want. It will connect you to one very quickly.

I have to wait quite some time to find a match, and even then, most of the people leave before the end.


I haven't actually been able to win a Versus match yet - the other team usually quits.

I've also encountered this, but then again I had a similar problem with the first game. Maybe we're just too good.

As for nobody on 360 playing L4D2 online, I say...viva le pc-evolution! Get yourself a pc copy and come play(call it a backup copy). Or use the time to get your survivor skills on, for when L4D2 does explode on multiplayer, you will want that edge. Cheers!

Same issue here, can't find any good games... and most of the folks kinda don't know what they're doing...

I usually just play with friends, so I haven't noticed that much of a problem with L4D2's population on XBL, but I'd also be comparing to the first week which was Thanksgiving week, too. Everyone off to eat and no one playing. I'd have to agree with others and say that there may have been a lot of people holding off until Christmas before switching from L4D to L4D2. Maybe, come January, we'll see a big boost.

Then you haven't played the game, because melee weapons don't make it easier. They make it survivable. The number of common infected have increased greatly, and it's all too easy to get trapped by them for some special infected to tear you up.

I think most people are still playing Modern Warfare II and Left 4 Dead 1. L4D 2 has sold well so it could also be that everyone is on the PC version.

Exactly what debacle, at least one where Valve didn't turn out to be right all along? I think it's safe you say that you and your friends are in an extreme minority.

I don't think it's such a minority. People used to think Valve made THE HIGHEST quality games with painstaking polish and testing...but then L4D came along with all it's bugs and people took a step back.

Then L4D2 has even more catastrophic bugs that preclude people from even RUNNING it until valve patches it...and they haven't. People have lost a lot of respect for Valve.

Honestly...I'm disappointed in L4D2. I'm NOT one of the boycotters, I was totally excited about L4D2 and even pre-ordered it.

However, it's just not as fun as v.1.0. I'm not sure why, I think the new specials and items just throw too much complexity into the mix. And the director doesn't keep the player on the edge of failure anymore...it just pushes you over again and again. Fun turns to frustration so quickly in L4D2.

I'll probably stop playing L4D2 once I feel I've extracted a sufficient entertainment to dollar ratio.
