I had something kind of like that, but with less money and no burbon (since I am only 19). I was working at my store moving carts around in the entryway (you know, where everyone gets and drops off thier carts), and I find stuff in there all the time. Keys, phones, wallets, stuff I obviously cant claim. However, there was one time I found a $10 bill in one of the carts. Well, being the nice guy I am, I turned it into lost and found. Afew days later I come back and find out that when it comes to money, there is apparently a company policy that if no one claims it within 3 days, its the finders. This was 5 days later. So of course, it went right back into the store because I spent it on a 3 chicken strip dinner over in the deli.lechat said:so i work 12 hour days (i used to work 12-16) which means i am now due for another weekly 4 day weekend and decided to stop off and grab some thai food and a bottle of bourbon and as i walk out of the bottle shop BAM!! 50 bucks on the ground, i look around to see if anyone dropped it since i am one of those morons that actually give stuff back to their rightful owner and noone is around!!
i am now mildly intoxicated, $50 richer and going to eat some thai food and watch the latest episode of game of thrones. do any of you dare say your life is more awesome than mine?
