I found out that the japenese got

MGS1 !!!

and all the RESI's !!!

seriously WTF ??

i already knew they get everything before us but i never knew that they got legendary games

i want to start a campaign against sony to tell them to give us EVERYTHING that the japensese store gets

So how do feel about this ?

would you want PS2 games on it ?

and would you want a Graphical update on them ?

(would a japense PSN account work) ?

Jeez, calm down dude. A Japanese PSN account could work, though for your sake I hope you have a couple hundered Yen on you to buy them.

Japan has always gotten games we've never seen before. Here in Aus, a pal country, we've never seen Super Mario RPG, Chrono Cross, Earthbound etc. You just have to learn to deal with it.

200 Yen is about 2 bucks American.

As for the OP, just hang in there and I'm sure that stuff will be available here eventually.

That's kind of lame, but I've come to expect this kind of uneven treatment these days.

We'll have it eventually, and if we don't, go buy a PS1, they're not very expensive.

One day, I hope that everything is released everywhere at the same time with the same version, but I doubt that this will happen until they realize that I'd pay for it.

I can understand why the Japanese get a game that was made in Japanese first, but there are English version of these games so it doesn't make much sense that they release there first (although you could just but a MGS1 PS1 disc and use that and really isn't that better?).

I think it may be down to the SCEE, if they dont think it will sell, they wont sell it.
But maybe not, cause who WOULDN'T buy MGS and Resi for old times sake.

We need all the PS3 users on this site to form a petition to get these games released in the EU and US stores. If you dont like how something is done, PETITION :)

You'll get it eventually. And not to *****, but why do you feel the need to make every sentence a separate paragraph?

If you create a Japanese account, can you use American dollars?

Yeah PS2 stuff would be cool. PSN has been steadily improving though so I'm sure it'll catch up soon.

Regional/Localization = Sucking

Either offer it as is or the US alternative... its not that hard.... and they wonder why people still use mod chips.... hint its not about the free games....

To Runtheplacered: I have no idea if you can use US$. I imagine if you use a credit card, it will convert the currency for you.

Super Mario RPG's decent, but no Chrono Cross?! Unforgivable!

Also, being Australians, we're always lagging. Its tough being Australian.

What Be this trickery? A Super Mario RPG? Chrono Cross? What be these strange itmes?
Lol, I'm glad to see us long suffering PAL countries at least have a sense of humour about missing out all of the time.

Just make another PSN Account for Japan. It's really not that hard. I got the Killzone 2 Demo and the Resident Evil 5 Demo by making two accounts - one for US and my primary NZ account.

Games wise yes, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else :)
Same, damnit I went off topic.
Anyway to the OP, do what everyone else is suggesting and make a new PSN account, its not that hard.

Nuts...
I'm interested in this. I hope that by the time I get a PS3 that these games are made available for US download.
