I should have been more specific. There's incessant camping, as in, majority of people camp everywhere, bringing the game to a halt--especially in hardcore, where maps like Wasteland, Derail, Invasion and Rundown-- and alsothe bad camping spots, where campers can be very difficult, almost impossible to get rid of, like the rooftops and crane on Highrise, dock ends on sub base, 2 story ranger spawn on Skidrow, etc.TerranReaper said:As much as I agree with you, don't those two points contradict each other?
I'm one of those (as Yahtzee calls them) "games are art hippie-types. and a believe games are about fun and experiencing something new every time. I like games of skill but I hate when people turn them into grueling tests and drain all the fun from them. I like to have fun, not wasting time practicing techniques in a game when I could be writing a book, a song, or going to a convention or something.TerranReaper said:What if I like playing to win? I personally enjoy playing competitive multiplayer games (RTS, Fighting games, Shooters, etc) where the better player wins.Drakmeire said:oh I'm sorry I just had to get that out of my system. if you play call of duty for a quick diversion, that's fine just experience the rest of gaming culture as well, or hell, go out with friends, read a book.

What he said.AjimboB said:MW2 is a terribly unbalanced game, and the studio refused to admit their mistakes, and fix the damn thing, regardless of complaints from fans.
Problems:
1. The killstreaks are overpowered, and extremely easy to earn since you can stack them.
2. Infinite noobtubes using scavenger and one man army.
3. Marathon/Lightweight/Commando is unstoppable in suboptimal conditions.
4. Host disconnecting via dashboard prevents host migration so the match ends.
5. UMP is a 3 shot kill from anywhere on the map, with a silencer, and with any red perk, making it the most powerful gun in the game, even though it's an SMG.
6. Flashbangs work through walls on equipment.
There's tons more, but these are the most annoying things about the game that I can think of off the top of my head.
From what I interpret of this, and correct me if I'm wrong, I'm assuming that you're saying that you don't like it when people start getting really competitive and going all "try-hard". There's nothing wrong with that, but from your previous post and this one as well, you assume that people that do this aren't having fun at any point in time. There are people that enjoy doing this and enjoy a challenge that is presented to them.Drakmeire said:I like games of skill but I hate when people turn them into grueling tests and drain all the fun from them.TerranReaper said:What if I like playing to win? you sir, said it better than i could, thank GOD for CoD4Cazza said:Reasons why I hate it.
Inferior to CoD4 (the whole feel of the game is messed with)
The community sucks
No console
Stupid match making system (I always got lag when playing)
Campaign was short, pointless
To many perks (it just gets confusing and stupid)
Money grab
Just some of the reasons I hate it. In no way do I hate it because it's popular. I don't care if it's popular. I don't know why with how bad it is.

I have nothing against MW2, it had a short and silly campaign and I really don't care about the multiplayer. Doesn't mean I don't like it.
