Why the hate on W+M1?

That is referring to Pyros that use the Backburner and run straight towards battle holding down M1. People complain because the Backburner is an ambush weapon, and those Pyros should be using the default weapon, which has pyroblast, an important strategic tool.

But why SHOULD they, if they find that they operate better with the Backburner? People fighting the Pyro shouldn't complain if, by using the Backburner, they are sacrificing "an important strategic tool." For the person controlling the Pyro, if they can clear the battlefield with the Backburner, then what more of "an important strategic tool" do they need?

It isn't people fighting the Pyro, it is people on the Pyro's team that want to win.

I see. I'll take your word for it. I guess it's one of those things I won't really know until I play it more on a serious level. Unfortunately, I'm not hooked up online, and even if I was, I don't usually play on a serious level. lol

I love the Backburner and I W+M1 alot. Why? Well if I see 5 enemies right next to each other I'm not gonna go back and hope they come by my ambush, I'm gonna take initiative and try to kill them as soon as I can.
