Why the hate?

Something that I have noticed very recently is that there is a lot of hate against Nicholas Cage and Nickelback.
Well the Nickelback thing I have noticed a lot in my town than online but the Nicholas Cage thing I have noticed that people all over the internet are hating him. I find both to be decent in their own respects so I do not get why people are hating so much on them.

This is the question I ask why is there all this hate?

I never liked Nicholas Cage's acting... ever. It just seems played out to me.

Nickleback is blehhhh, but I'm not into anything remotely close to their style of music.

Oh, and Nickelback has all the musical prowess of a 9th grader. And they have pretty much only made songs about whores and sluts since their first album. Not a ton to like.

Not everyone is going to like everything. It's just the way of things. People's dislike towards Nickelback and Nicholas Cage is neither greater nor less than hatred of other things.

Nickelas cage isn't one of em, and I don't really listen to music.


But generally speaking some things get popular to hate like Megan Fox, Paris Hilton, Modern Warfare 2(albeit this one has more reasoning then others), micheal bay e.t.c.

Some times it just seems cool to do it, don't ask me why as I don't have any clue.

Nickelback is bad because their music is terrible. They are the musical equivalent of Michael Bay, valuing repetition and previously successful formulas over creative innovation.

I like Nicholas Cage but the man can't pick a script to save his life. He has been in great movies (Leaving Las Vegas) and terrible movies (Captain Correlis Mandolin). Maybe if he was wiser with his personal finances he wouldn't have to say yes every time some horrible script came with a dumptruck of money attached to it.

Nickleback is a rock band where all their songs wallow in the same auditory mush.... never rising or falling. They are like a blended turd... no matter how much spice you put in it you are still going to taste shit.

And I like Nicholas Cage, but he is an actor that is destined to play very specific parts.

Someday and How You Remind me is off of the same Album so I wouldn't be surprised if they are so similar and also that sounds more like a bad mashup than they being the same thing. Its mostly people who are tone deaf who think they are exactly the same.

Recently I was at a store buying something and a couple of people I know walked in talking about how they hate Nickelback (it was playing on the radio when they walked in) and how the one CD of Nickelback they had someone punched it and they now had it framed on the wall of where they do some radio thing.

She looks like she came out of the plastic factory. If she walked by I'd be wondering where the factory sticker, and price tag is. She just seems like a regurgitation of what I hate most about Holly wood.

Well, Nickelback is Nickelback. I would have thought the reasons were self evident.

Poor Nick Cage, he's a lot like James Woods or Malcom MacDowell, he just wants to keep working and he picks some awful, awful, movies because of it. He can be great, but he can be mediocre and he sports some ridonculous hairstyles. Maybe it's that wasted talent complex that make people hate him or maybe people have only seen his sucky films. In fact that's probably it I bet more people on the internet have seen The Wickerman, Snake Eyes, Con Air, Ghost Rider, or Knowing than have seen Leaving Las Vegas, Raising Arizona, Matchstick Men, Birdy or Vampire's Kiss.

Megan Fox is hated cause, while she's hot sure, she's a *****. She likened Michael Bay (whom I also hate) to Hitler cause he wanted the cast and crew to visit the pyramids and get some culture. It's not a coincidence that she's not appearing in Transformers 3.

Paris Hilton is hated because she's a filthy whore with way too much money who buys (or used to buy) outfits for her dog that cost more than my rent. Plus she's got that googly eye.

So basically they're both hated cause they're stuck up bitches. And no matter how hot you are, being stuck up ruins it.

Oh and people hate Michael Bay cause he's a douche and makes crappy movies. (Bad Boys, Bad Boys 2, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Transformers 2, etc)
