Why violent video games should NOT be banned.

Violence is just in our nature. Like sex. War and violence has been going on since the dawn of time, long before video games were even thought of.

And who ever said video games were for children?

Bumping this for a friend, but Honestly the main reason why is because I honestly believe that humans should have some idea of responsibility and that like television the games are being blamed for acts of violence. You can pull up all the stories you want about how such violent acts and killings involved video games, but it doesn't undermine the fact that the people who committed the acts had some lack of self control or had some serious issues that they vented out through the game.
