Why VR will fail

I feel VR is one of those things that needs technology to go a lot further before it really becomes a viable gaming alternative. VR also needs games that are actually built with VR in mind, not just current games ported (poorly) over to VR. C
ontrol schemes, motion-tracking, resolution, but most importantly CONVENIENCE...all these factors have to be top-notch. Also eliminating motion sickness won't be particularly easy.
So we'll keep seeing "attempts" at VR but I feel it's going to be a while before we finally see something usable for everyday gaming.

Occulus Rift was a big and important step in the right direction but there's a long way to go.

Just enjoy other forms of gaming while we wait :)

OP, you think anything that isn't a PC will fail. Claim it will yet...have no proof, strong evidence or really anything to support your claim.
PS4 and XBone are basically standardized PCs in shiny black boxes. Handheld/mobile gaming is another market altogether.
So technically he's right.
