You never specified when I asked the question 'who did we attack first and not try diplomacy with?' And since I never said violence was better than diplomacy having an opposing argument is kind of hard.
What I disagree with is your comments of 'ALL the things our government does is for money. That those who tell our leaders to war, want war ,so all of America wants war' Show me your proof that EVERYTHING they do is for money, that ALL of our leaders want war and that ALL Americans want war.
I apologize for barging into this debate, it just sounded too good to pass up! If you're annoyed, just lemme know, and I'll stop.
But, the US committed vast atrocities against Native American's that was probably all from the greed of the American White men in Washington. Native Americans are peaceful people - granted, they have a lot of pride - yet no one in Washington was willing to try to live alongside the Indian. Because of their rumored savage lifestyle, they were rejected, forced into concentration camps, murder houses, and boarding schools, all in an attempt to make them more civil (read, more white) and hopefully completely eradicating the "Native menace". And why did they try to make my people more white? To further the American dream, so that America could grow unhindered, able to see the white man's manifest destiny fulfilled.
Granted, I think that America was sort of destined to rule what we now recognize as the continental US, but they didn't have to do it with the abuse towards Indians.
