There's probably already a thread about this but I don't care.

What are some cool titles coming on the Wii later this year. If possible have a link.

Madworld- comming out in march seems cool.
I concur + The Conduit.
Bah, the Conduit looks like they went so overboard with graphics they forgot everything else. Gameplay looks linear and the alien gun thingamajigger looks fugly to be honest.

Actually, it looked a lot like Metroid Prime so I guess if you like Metroid Prime (like 90% of the gaming world it seems) then yeah...

Anyway:

There was that game where you could be a tarantula or a scorpion... Totally forget what it's called now but it looked interesting.
Eh, people who've played it say the control scheme is awesome.
Deadly Creatures is the one you're thinking of.

I really hope that the conduit doesn't suck.

Metroid Prime? Yes, Metroid Prime 3 had a fantastic control layout. Unfortunately, good controls (motion sensitive or not) don't make a good game by itself.
Nah, I was referring to The Conduit. Apparently, the entire thing is 100% customizable, so you can set it to your preference.

This is true. But I'm crossing my fingers.

There's The Conduit and Madworld of course.
Not to mention Pikmin 3, No More Heroes 2 and Kirby have all been confirmed.
Oh, and if you didn't get to play them first time around, there's going to be Wii remakes of the first two Pikmin and Metroid Prime games.
Are they 2009? I'm not entirely sure. But they're all under construction, at least.

Madworld, and No More Heroes 2. However, I think NMH2 is coming out in 2010.

Has icarus been announced?
Intelligent Systems isn't doing much else at the moment, as far as I know. While it hasn't been announced yet, it raises the question of what they ARE doing.

games? Nintendo still makes them?
Yes. But thats not saying much. -_-
at least the games nintendo's first party developers have been making are of good quality. screw third party developers seeking easy money using the wii motion sensitivity for a gimick

Although Wii owners who concurrently play Xbox and PS3 FPSs aren't too thrilled about it, I'm looking forward to The Conduit's release. Many argue that there are only subtle differences between The Conduit and Metroid Prime 3 (and I disagree), but Prime 3 is an awesome game anyway so is this such a terrible comparison? Interestingly enough, the game will take advantage of the new Wii Motion Plus and Wii Speak peripherals, so 1) it will control well (hopefully) and 2) it will be fun to chat with other players over Wi-Fi, given Nintendo irons out its inherent Wi-Fi issues (which may ultimately prove to be trivial, however, as CoD: World at War's Wi-Fi runs superbly). I simply don't feel that we should overlook this game's possible merits before we actually get a chance to play it.

THQ's Deadly Creatures also looks interesting (although I'm a bit skeptical), and for survival horror fans (like me!) there's Deep Silver's Cursed Mountain. Here's a link to Joystiq's site for more info. and some truly creepy pics... http://www.joystiq.com/2008/07/31/cursed-mountain-survival-horror-made-just-for-wii/

And my take on Nintendo's Q1 2009 lineup... http://frankswiireviews.blogspot.com
