Wii pain

Alright i was thinking back because of a post about gh/rockband injuries and the way the Wii remote is, it could cause some accidents? share with me things you accidentally did while playing with you Wii. For one, i hit my little bro on the head while playing Wii tenace and i almost through my remote through my window, it hit it but it didn't break (thank god) so i am never playing Wii baseball again and i had the wrist trap on nice and tight still didn't help.

Anyway, I've been hit with a flying Wiitroller while playing Brawl. The guy I was playing with had shake smashes on, and he got a little overenthusiastic.
That thing freakin' hurt.

I hurt my arm after an over-enthusiastic beam katana swing. I feel rediculouse because I usually dont do stuff like that, because it only requires me to flick my wrist a little.

I almost threw it through my TV. I decided to play a quick game of Wii Sports Baseball, so I didn't put the wrist strap on. I took a swing and the Wiimote slipped. Thank Science I somehow caught it a split second after it left my hand.

Yeah, in real tennis, but considering you can sort of wiggle the wiimote and win pretty much any game of tennis, I doubt it's required.

Anyway, I've never hurt anyone with a wiimote, though I have accidently had it slip away from me once when I didn't have the wrist strap on.

Nothing yet, although I've discovered you can't scratch during Mario Kart, it throws you off really badly! Gah! Stupid motion sensors!

Unless a person is about 8, I honestly can't see what is so challenging about not letting the WiiMote go while you're playing.

I can understand hitting something when you swing it, but not letting it fly. Seriously, a person can walk and chew gum, right?

I often get a sore arm when playing Wii Sports (which doesn't happen much). Then again, I can throw a 95 mph fastball, so that could be the reason.

I was hoping this topic was a place where all of us could discuss the various "Wii" jokes we've come up with since the release of Nintendo's system. I'm never going to stop making Wii jokes. Even when I'm 90, I'll still be telling them to other old people in whatever nursing home I end up in.

If memory serves me, at the time the Wii was made public, there was a website where they collected a list of collateral damages caused by reckless use of the Wii. There were some pretty obscure accidents, like damaged walls. Don´t know how the site fares nowadays.
