Apparently, the Nintendo execs weren't familiar with XBL or PSN.

I'm not surprised by this, because I've been noticing some similar things between the GameCube and the Wii U. Now the Wii U is a nice console, I like mine, but there are things that Nintendo are severely behind on that they really shouldn't be. When the article came out in which Nintendo said that they didn't realize how difficult it was when making games in HD, I had to question why that was the case. I mean, had they never even done research on it at all, because sooner or later they were gonna jump?

Either way, Nintendo currently has lowered the sales they expect by March 2014 to 6.8 million instead of the initial 9 million. which is a way better forecast because 9 million is an outrageous number to want by March of this year. I mean hell, when Sony said they expected 5 million units sold by March of this year then I thought they were insane, even for the hype the PS4 had. Hopefully they'll be able to turn it around, but most of the problems the Wii U is having is all Nintendo's fault and they have no one to blame but themselves. (marketing especially)

Now to wait for people to come in here and say "oh this 3rd party person doesn't know what he's talking about", because honestly we know that's gonna be the case from some people here. >.>

I think Nintendo's figured out HD. I heard Wind Waker looks great.

Now they have, but Miyamoto admitted that Nintendo underestimated the jump to HD. That's why it too so long for Pikmin 3 to come out, because remember Pikmin 3 was originally supposed to be a Wii game, but was switched to a Wii U game in 2011.

Also, Wind Waker HD is gorgeous, just uses too much bloom in certain areas. It's like how J.J Abrams uses too much lensflare.
