Will Alpha Protocol get the Mass Effect treatment?

I have recently read an article on Alpha Prototcol, and it looks great. However, I also saw a part saying that you can seduce female spies and, shall we say, "get your bond on." Do you think this will give it another Se-x box scandal like Mass Effect? or will it remain under the radar? I think it will get some controversy, but not another Se-x box.

I don't remember how high-profile Mass Effect was, but I've seen very little of Alpha Protocol hype.

hmm, I'm just hoping Alpha Protocol is a third person shooter and not an fps.

Anyway, fox got bit pretty bad for that whole "sexbox" fiasco, so I doubt they'd be so quick with the completely retarded and unfounded claims again.

I forget the exact quote, but I believe she said something among the lines of: "Boys cannot tell the difference between real life and a video game."
No Cooper, but when one choice offers side-boob and a split second of ass, the young teenage male who is practically drowning in hormones will generally sway in that direction.

It should be. The genre of RPGs sort of begs character customization, and the titles Obsidian have worked on in the past are mostly third-person perspective. Of course, I don't know that this will be a shooter in the strictest sense. It sounds like it will let you play it the way you want, stealth or shooter or some kind of hybrid.

OT: I hope this won't accrue the sort of attention Mass Effect got when it debuted. Hopefully that whole scandal and the resulting aftermath (i.e. everyone looking like a fool) taught Fox not to mess with the game industry. But I doubt it.
