You know what... I am kind of OK with this.

Arnett's Batman was one of the best characters in that movie, and one of the best Batman I have seen in a while.

This would be great, can finally see some Batman villians in action that normally would never get to the big screen.

Ugh, as if shoehorning licensed IPs into the first movie wasn't bad enough already. Their version of Batman was basically every Batman parody that's been done on the Internet since Christopher Bale supplanted Adam West, and everyone else was a random cameo that had no effect on the story. And they were all poignant reminders that even Lego can't get people to buy their toys without making them all tie-ins with some movie or cartoon.

And I thought last year's announcement of the Dawn of Justice ("Batman v Superman") movie for 2015 was a stretch. What's the point of announcing media that will be 2 or more following years in the works? Whatever hype that generates won't matter for a long time, even if it's by investors. Delays are too likely. Even the game Driveclub had to be pushed back a year, despite expectations that it would come out on the PS4 launch. Announcements should just state that a movie/game is being made, without estimations unless they are set for less than 1/2 a year in the future.
