Will Gameinformer soon reveal Star Wars Battlefront 3?

According to the article, Gameinformer will reveal Battlefront 3 in their next issue. Their evidence is that Gameinformer's recent string of articles on the game and their tease of a major game in the next issue should make some wonder if SWBF3 is being brought back.

I for one will hold my breath on this but what do some of you think?

I want to be hopeful about this but firstly, do they do this kind of thing often? When the new South Park game was announced did they do articles before that point about South Park? I love Star Wars as much as the next guy(currently sitting at desk covered with Star Wars figures and beside a shelf of 30+ Star Wars comics and novels) but this doesn't seem like enough to get excited about.
Secondly when they say next month do they mean January? Or was this mentioned recently. Cause if it is true I want confirmation so i can prepare for the hour long nerdgasm of a non kinect/force unleashed Star Wars game.

I really hope so. The Battlefront games were awesome, me and my little brother played them all the time.

Hope they still have space combat in it.

The Gameinformer article doesn't really seem to hint that the game is coming out any time soon, if at all. For all we know, one of the writers could have just had Star Wars Battlefront on their mind.

Then again, with the next generation of consoles coming out in the next year of 2, it's possible that consoles will finally be strong enough to play it with a decent amount of players.

I cant help but remain apprehensive of Battlefront 3. Things ive heard about the story over the years have been turn off after turn off and now im faced with the prospect of an 8-year sequel. Unless they scrapped the old Battlefront 3 stuff and went from square one within the last two years or so, im keeping the cynic within that is me at full force.

I do not need to say anything. This guy did it for me.

I used to play Battlefront II's local multiplayer to death. With my brother, friends, brothers friends and friends brothers. I liked Battlefront II's multiplayer almost as much as 007 : Nightfire's.

Please release a new one! It would officially be epic. Even if it's essentially a HD version of Battlefront II, that would be fine. Just give us something Battlefront II related, pretty please!

Yeah, they're the guys who made Turning Point: Fall of Liberty and Legendary. It doesn't really sit well with me either that another dev took up the project, especially if it's Spark Unlimited...

I would like to say this, GameFly's most popular PS2 Titles has listed Star Wars Battlefront 2(known for improvements to everything, and removal of all the good maps)as the 15th most popular rental.

WHY IS IT NOT HIGHER!

Oh and Lucas Arts, when do pre-orders open, and will the Clone Wars cartoons wind up being used for level material(its all they are good for)?
