will monster hunter frontier be brought over to the UK and US?

Ive been wondering if monster hunter frontier (the mmo version for pc) will be brought to the UK and US because, despite the fact its most popular in Japan, it has still been a success in other parts of the world. With this in mind, it strikes me as a little odd that the developers never bothered to make it possible for English and American fans to access it (theres an ip blocker which prevents anyone outside of asia accessing it), considering how well it may do.

Does anyone know if there are plans to bring it across sea's or will it remain bound to asia?

OT:A thread on capcom from some of the localization team said no due to costs about two years ago...Capcom isn't looking too hot financially atm so...no for now

I heard somewhere that it's coming to the 360 over in japan. I guess there might be chance of us getting it on there.

dunno how do the weapons work for a PC and i would prefer MH3 or the next one to be on other consols than the WII, i mean i still play the first one even though the severs got shut down just because its alot of fun to play

lol as much as i would love to try that, im not sure what languages would be spoken on the servers because MHF is played all across asia. Considering i only speak English and am failing to learn German, i dont know how well i would get on with an asian language

Agreed. My friends and I started playing unite on the psp again, i think 3 is the worst of the series to be honest, just because of the grindy HR system. I like the monsters though but some of the ones on frontier look really cool. I might try it even if i can't talk to anyone.

I haven't heard any news about it. There is a Monster Hunter user group here on the escapist. If you are not already a member (I don't keep up to speed on the group so much anymore) I would say joining that and asking there would get you a definite answer if you don't get one here.

It's already been released on the 360 in Japan - was big news because it's release actually drove up 360 sales to the point that the 360 was the #1-selling console in Japan that week.
