Will my computer run L4D2?

I have been contemplating buying Left 4 Dead 2 on Steam, but my computer is crap and i don't know if it will run it. =/

System Specs.
Dell Dimension DM061
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit
Intel Core 2 Duo 4300 1.80GHz 1.80GHz (dual core)
2GB Ram
55GB Free Hard Drive Space
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT card 256Mb Ded. Video Memory, 776mb Shared Memory

hmm possibly but I think the best idea would be to upgrade.

L4D2 isn't too demanding at lower settings...

That said, I had an 8600GT in the past which was ok but certainly not up to par these days.

Actually it sounds like you have almost the exact PC my gf has, except hers was HP. Same CPU, RAM, OS but hers didn't have a GPU.

We actually just spent only about $300 and upgraded the mobo, CPU (got an E5400 2.7ghz dual core), 4gb RAM, and Windows 7 64 bit. It's waaaaaayyy faster.

You could do that and add another $100 for a GPU upgrade, or $150 for maybe a GTS 450 or HD 5770

I think I have a better graphics card and can barley run L4D.
Not sure about the rest though.
