Will these work together?

I'm in the process of building my first computer and have decided to run two 8800gt in SLI, I've already got 1 8800gt on it's way but whilst looking for another one to buy I came across this one on amazon:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-GeForce-8800-Alpha-Dog/dp/B0013F1DC0/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1234263399&sr=8-11

My question is is it the same as a normal 8800gt but just a better version of it? Or is it a completely different card due to some minute difference? Would I still be able to run SLI with both of them?

Here's the one I've already bought:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/XFX-Nvidia-8800GT-Express-Graphics/dp/B000XQHBEE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1234263399&sr=8-1

Thanks in advance for your help:)

I personally think you should send the 8800GT back and get an ATI 4870. The reasoning behind this is that this single card will cost less than the two 8800GT's in SLI, but is actually more powerful than the two combined.

Personally I would drop nVidia and get 2 ATI Radeon 4870 x2 and Crossfire them... 4 GB of video ram would be amazing...

My mobo is Nvidia though. It's just easier if I put my specs:

Intel Q6600 Processor
nForce 680ilt SLI Motherboard
4GB RAM
2 X XFX Geforce 8800gt

I'm new to this whole putting your specs down malaraky so go easy lol

Plus this isn't meant to be a powerhouse. It's just a comp that's meant to help me do my computer animation stuff alot easier, can't do shit on a laptop. I don't plan this to be the only comp I ever make but it'll be a long time until I make another one. I just want to get this one finished quickly so I can start working.
