If it proves to be used sensibly and to proper effect, and the price isn't akin to a piece of moon rock, then I might get it. If they treat it with the Nintendo strategy, i.e. crowbarring it into every fucking game, then nein.
In the spirit of Yahtzee, short answer: no. Long answer: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I love my Wii, but for it's awesome first party games, not for it's awful motion controls
I love my 360 and just want to have the control over my characters in the palm of my hand, not have to stand up and 'be' the controller
Also I had an EyeToy way back when and it entertained me for all of 5 minutes
I say no because of the games that are currently coming out for it.
If you go to the website, all there is are sport, dance and fitness games, mainly..
actually lemme go check it..
10 of the currently 16 games that are announced are sport, dance or fitness.. Its a complete gimmick and i doubt any actual good games will come out for it for a while and i dont want to get it for one game...
Most likely not. I have no room for it all at, I have barely any floor space in my room so it's not ideal. Another thing is the price, I can think of much better ways to spend 150 pounds on what is basically a jumped-up EyeToy. I told that to a member of staff at GAME while he was trying to get me to pre-order it, needless to say he was less than impressed with my simplistic analysis.
I'll buy it when it has some actual games and the price drops. Learned that after buying a wii. I love it but it hardly has any good games, though the ones it has are amazing I just wish I had waited for a price drop.
I might have, considering it's probably going to be mandatory for Fable 3.
But then I saw the new Fable 3 trailer... I died inside. I've lost all faith in the gaming industry.
I might, if Your Shape turns out to be good, as unlike Wii fit it actually gives some useful info, and if it can do stuff like read hip misalignment, it'd be totally worth getting for $150. I haven't seen any actual games that make it worth buying though.
