Is anyone else watching this, these guys have been playing a single set for over 5 hours with the entire match at almost 8 hours. As I'm typing this it's 45 games all. No one's dropped serve. It's the longest tennis match in the history of Wimbledon, if not the world, and they've both broken the record or the most aces in a single match. Quite frankly it's an epic display of stamina and skill and it's only the first round of the men's singles.

Wait, holy shit. I flicked over Wimbledon hours ago and these 2 were playing and it was the final set then and it's still going now?

EDIT: Damn, they are still going! 49 games all what the hell?! 0_0

Isner's dead on his feet and Mahut isn't much better. Whoever wins this match, they've got no chance next round.

I wonder if this rule of "no tie-breaks in the final set" might be in need of a rethink after this...

50/50.....JESUS CHRIST!!! This is madness
THIS IS WIMBLEDON!!!! (couldn't resist, sorry)

It's 52 all now. These guys really need to work on how to break an opponent's serve.

What exactly happens if no one has won by the time the light goes?
They come back tomorrow and give it another go, but that'll be a couple more hours yet. It's unlikely Isner will stay on his feet that long.

Really? I thought they said that the match tomorrow has be scheduled already. I'm sure you're right anyway.

Isner definitely looks the more tired.
I doubt this will make it past 55-all the way he's looking.

EDIT: Though that said...Mahut is getting sloppy. It could be...

How are these two doing this? the scoreboard stopped working at 47 all and turned itself off at 50-51.
It is currently 55 all and Isner has about 95 aces so far...

Fun fact: this set is now longer than any other complete match in tennis history.

And dear god, how many times are they gonna tell me not to adjust my screen. The joke was kinda lame and not particularly funny when they first said it, and now they've used it every 15 minutes or so for the past 2 hours. Someone please tell them it's not amusing.
