Wimbledon Final

I don't think that anyone can deny it was a magnificent match and the perfect closer to the greatest tennis tournament on the planet, and it's raised a couple of questions:

Is Federer the best ever? In my eyes yes, you can't argue with 15 majors and the overall quality of the game is very high now, so to achieve it when he has is unbelievable.

Was last years final better? I think not. Nadal vs. Federer was always going to go the distance whereas a lot of people thought Roddick would get hammered, and he came oh so close himself.

Anybody else have any views?

Also, that was an awesome match, here's hoping we see a lot more of Roddick playing like that in finals.

I always had a feeling that federer wasn't going to have the easiest of games against anyone in the finals.
I originally thought he was gonna breeze past roddick though they have fought each other in the Wimbledon finals 4 times now and every time federer won with a relative ease.
missed the murry roddick game so didn't see how well either of them played.
but after seeing just a few games in the final and seeing how well roddick was serving I knew that it was gonna be a tough match I even thought roddick might have been able to cause an upset.
However federer is just so naturally talented. bloody good match all around
