Windows 7 64 bit /32 bit

hey guys/ladies, i was wondering if i will be able to run windows 7 32 bit on a 64 bit CPU, this is because i cannot find a PCI card that works with a windows 7 64 bit

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. I think most things with bigger numbers can run things with smaller numbers is the general rule.

i have looked and there just doesnt seem to be a PCI card that works on the 64 bit version, correct me if im wrong obviously

What kind of PCI device are you having trouble with? I don't believe it should matter.

My Auzentech XPLOSION is a PCI card and it works just fine with 64-bit Win7.

Most (if not all) 32-bit window 7 drivers are compatible with the 64 bit OS.
I am currently using a 32-BIT EdiMax Wifi N card on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.


What is the PCI card that is in question?
If its a older card It may not be as worth hanging on too as you think.

I use PCI cards (a Wifi PCI card, PCI sound card and a PCI video card I keep for testing/trouble shooting)with Win XP 64 and WIn 7 64 bit with no issues.
