Windows 7 Aero/toolbar/theme replacement

Hello my fellow Escapists!

After so many years of being abused by a horrible office PC, I had just picked up THIS [https://pbs.twimg.com/media/CWwhAKnVEAASX6Q.jpg:large] yesterday, the lil' Angel, and I'm prepared to live in the world that is known as "PC 'Glorious' Gaming".

I've installed the OS (Windows 7, 64 bit), downloaded a few essential programs, and I'm about to transfer my former compooper's files. Yet that was when I noticed the most annoying thing. The toolbar. It just looks plain ugly, and it is completely unlike the Aero toolbar of my former PC. Yet, unfortunately the video/graphic card decided it can't run Aero themes. Which leaves me with one ugly desktop theme and toolbar.

I just wanted to ask if any of you know a replacement that'll make it less ugly, and if it makes for a better desktop in total, I welcome it.

EDIT: Upgraded to Windows 10 to solve another problem.

If it's new hardware, then I'm afraid I don't believe you. The last piece of graphics hardware that couldn't run Aero was back in the Pentium 4 days, about a decade ago.

If Aero isn't enabling, then it means there's either a driver issue, or it means you have to run the Windows Aero Assessment thingy, so Windows can discover it's able to run it. (Go to My Computer properties, and look for the system rating thing, click on it and then click the button to re-run the rating assessment.)

Doh! Ah well.

I've been playing around with Windows 10 myself recently. It's not really as bad as a lot of people were making out.
On the subject of themes, I didn't really like the bright white title bars at the top of the windows, because it clashed too much with the jet black taskbar. But the latest Windows 10 update allows you to change the colors of the (both) bars to anything you like.

Anyway, sure. Mods can feel free to lock this.
