Windows 7 and my RAM.

I have a question for m favorite online community (admittedly it was you vs. trade chat)

I have windows vista home basic (32 bit) and for some reason I don't fully under stand I can't use all 6GB of my RAM. Does any one know what version of windows 7 I need to get in order to use it? Thanks in advance for any good responses.

You need a 64bit OS to use all your ram. Just get win7 64bit

and it's the same for every single OS. 32 bits can only adresse a little under 4gb of ram. it's mathematical
