I recently purchased a computer. I wanted one with Windows 7, but the store only had computers which use Windows 8.
I figured I'd give this OS a shot.
It took me a little while to get used to the interface, but eventually I was able to use the OS comfortably and mostly without issue. BUT occasionally I just could not get Google Chrome to open, just occasionally, I would see that the windows existed when I alt-tabbed but there was no immediately obvious way to bring up those windows. This was a fairly minor annoyance which usually fixed itself.
Now this is happening even more often, and for more applications than just Chrome. I can't open Skype, Chrome, Elder Scrolls Online or my Libraries. When I click the icon it creates a window but I CANNOT ACCESS THE DAMN WINDOW! I click alt-tab and I see the windows there with web pages loaded and everything BUT I CANT GET TO THEM!!!!!!!! THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!
Other than just uninstalling Windows 8 (which I am strongly considering) what can I do to fix this issue?
I've tried Googling this issue but I've been having a very hard time finding a solution.
