Am I the only one who liked using Vista? I mean, it came with my laptop, did everything I wanted it too, (Nothing too flashy or what ever) and all I see is hate on it? :/
Same here, I have no problem using Vista, it just gets a bad rep (I can't see why)
In my opinion it's always been about the foundation, what computer you put it on (remember how Microsoft massaged the system requirements so that you could have a total POS and achieve "Vista Compatibility"), what skeletons you installed it over, etc.

I bought top of the line parts for a 64-bit computer when I built my Vista box in the fall of 2008, and I've had none problems. The only way I'll end up upgrading anything prior to Windows 8 or later is if some game comes along requiring DX11 support, in which case I'll get a midrange DX11+ video card.

Why would I buy Windows 7? Same shit, just use more resources and you have to spend like 5 hours finding and turning off shit functions, added to it.

Psh, Windows. Windows is too mainstream.

Us HIPSTERS use Linux!
Um, I think you have Linux confused with Mac. Hipsters fucking love Macs.
You're right, I must be thinking of bitches.

That ***** was complainin about Windows, so I set her up with some Linux. Bitches love Linux.

2: Vista and 7 share the same core, which is to say that 7 is what Vista was supposed to be. You could call Vista a beta of 7.
What an expensive beta that is! Oh wow...

What I'm going to miss from XP is all the useful little apps that the community has made for it that I find invaluable. I've been using & tweaking XP for too long to abandon my investment of time & knowledge in it so easily.

I know that I'll have to upgrade eventually, but I'm hoping that by the time I do, most of these useful apps will be available for 7. & by that time a new windows will prolly be announced & the cycle will start all over again :/

An operating system is like a fine wine, it gets better as it ages. Only to a limit though.
