By the way:
If you had wings you would lose your arms.

OP:
I do not want ANY animal adaption, humanity is perfect in it's evolution in my opinion.
... Seriously? I know most of us don't really need to be super fast or strong, considering our lifestyle, but still, as far as physical prowess goes, humanity is pretty pathetic overall. I'd hardly call that perfect.

Personally, I'd rather have the senses of an animal than one's physical traits. Super-hearing, mostly.
The senses are a tolorable change I suppose but to actually change us physically will make us no longer human.
Humanity is the greatest thing in existance in my opinion and I am very stubborn in that opinion, no-one has ever been able to convince me otherwise.
That's a good reason for hating humanity right there: we're full of ourselves.

Still, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume that you meant "the greatest thing on Earth." It still sounds ridiculous to me, but whatever. If, however, you actually meant the greatest thing in existence, then you, madame, are an ass.
Ok, I'm an ass then.
By the way did you know I think it's humanity's right/destiny to control the galaxy and be the masters above all the other races?
-.- wow, i'm the total opposite of you, i think humans should be wiped from existence, since the only real mark we've left on history thus far is coming up with newer an better ways of killing each other, as a few movies have said, humans are a parasite, a virus, but with out history, i have total faith we'll wipe our selves out :D

back OT:
feline grace, an general ability, as well as the tail, well really just the tail, always wanted a tail. also relating to the above :D full on furifacation if possible, snow leopard, or red fox, have to flip a coin but yeah :3 ( you had to know there was gonna be a furry answer sometime)

Gills probably, i'd love to go to the depths of the ocean and hang out with all the deep sea fangly-fish. i'd probably be completely covered in kevlar though, don't trust those giant squids and sharks one bit. :3

Now that's just ludicrous. The universe is so massive in scale, so full of things we cannot even begin to imagine, and yet you would assume that we, who cannot even sustain our own home, are better than anything that could ever be found out there? That we're somehow perfect? Are you delusional?

I'd like to produce so much natural bodily electricity that I can electrocute someone to death by touching them.

You don't have to lose your arms. You could just have wings on your back that could fold up into your soulder blades when your not flying.

Ah yes we would rule all those zero other races in the universe, the odds of their being any form of advanced life (i.e non cellular) arent very likely. And even if there are because distances are so huge and the faster speed possible so slow in comparison we would never get into contact anyway.

On topic though: Wings would be awesome if they gave flight, a tail would be fun for climbing around and adding that extra balance, but i think i'll go for regeneration that a certain species of lizard has, it can regrow severed limbs. That would be pretty useful if i was ever needed it.

Drake equation?

Perhaps I am.
Or maybe I can see what humanity can achieve, even if it takes 100s of thousands of years to achieve it!
Again, though, you did say that you thought humanity was 'perfect.' If we're such a long way off achieving greatness, that's hardly the case. Maybe we will be some day, but we certainly aren't now.

I would like to be able to breath underwater like a shark (not a fish because a shark sounds more badass) however I wouldn't want gills in my neck. Maybe just a change in my lungs to make it possible. i would still also like to breath on land. That would be pretty cool.

I'd want the speed/agility of a cheetah Flying is fine but your wings can get tired.

(Yeah running can get tiring too.)

How do you figure? I mean, we're only living on one planet out of nine, circling one star out of billions, inside one galaxy out of who knows how many. It hardly seems far fetched to think that on one of those countless other planets, there may be advanced life.

I'd like the ability to get younger, like the jellyfish in this article:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/wildlife/4357829/Immortal-jellyfish-swarming-across-the-world.html
I admit having to go through puberty again would be a pain in the ass, but it would be better than slowly breaking down over the course of the last twenty or thirty years of my life.
