Hi there, long time reader, first time topic starter. Coming to you now in my time of need.

Basically, i need to know if there are any games out there that come with a wire-frame mode. Long story short it's for help with my honors project for my final year of university. I'm investigating the link between user experience and game aesthetics.

So what I've decided to do is to play test a game in both normal and wire-frame mode. But unfortunately i don't know of any games in the last decade or so that have this feature. and short of dropping the graphic settings to the netherworld i won't get quite the same results as I expect.

So I turn to you in my hour of need. (tbh i don't NEED this info till the new year, but I like to be ahead of the game) can anyone suggest a decent looking (PC preferably) game that has a wireframe mode to it?

Google is your friend. [a href=http://www.gamepro.com/article/cheats/73182/half-life-2-episode-one-wireframe-mode/]Apparently HL2:1 has a wireframe mode cheat.[/a]

Neverwinter Nights 2 has a wireframe mode on the console. It's hard to play as it also turns all off all of the text on the UI.

Goldeneye and Turok 2 had wireframe mode cheats, I think. They may be a little old, I'm not sure.

I'm not sure if it counts, but try looking at Rez. If it doesn't help your project, look at Rez anyway, it's fun.

Any source engine game has wireframe. Considering HL2 keeps being mentioned as a fine example of gaming, or at least the source engine as a fine engine, its a perfect example.

Once again, the source engine has a wireframe mode

Start of Route Canal in HL2 using the code: mat_wireframe 2

*note* how to put that image in it's own box with a description on the bottom? I've seen it a few times on this site.
