Evolution: Fuck Yeah!!!!!

That my friends is an impacted wisdom tooth. Wisdom teeth are an artifact left over from back when the homo genus had larger jaws. I have one at the moment and it is KILLING ME!!!! I am in severe pain right now because of it, and I'd like just like to say, if there is any evidence proving that evolution is true, not intelligent design, this is it. Because no intelligent designer would have let this happen. Did I mention the SEVERE RAVENOUS PAIN?!?!?!

Sorry, just felt like raging against the uncontrollable with you as my audience. Please, disregard these ravings of a man going mad.

Three of mine have already cut through the gum and seem to be okay.

One, however, is a tad retarded and is half stuck under the gum at the back of my mouth. It's not painful though, it just kind of hangs out there. According to the dentist, there's a higher risk of infection but as long as a keep it clean there shouldn't be any problems.

OP: That looks pretty painful. I suppose it must be pushing your other teeth out of place too.

That looks fairly painful. Fear not I am sure that you can come to my newly created "Evolution dental buisness" and i'll fix it in no time. Just give me some warning so I can get the device needed to extract it.

Pictured below: The device.

All four of my twelve-year molars were impacted like that. So I got them all removed.
Then my bottom two wisdom teeth started coming in impacted. So I got all of them removed as well (not going to have two teeth on the top without having teeth on the bottom to match).

It's all good because apparently I have large teeth. Besides, how often do you use your back molars?

My third wisdom tooth is now breaking through here.
Best part? My mouth can accommodate them all. I will have +4 teeth, no pulling required.

Still, I feel for you people who won't have this luxury. Having a numb mouth from the anesthetics is probably not very fun. Or someone pulling a friggin teeth out of your jaw.

Well one of my wisdom teeth is position diagonally (toward my teeth) which thankfully wasn't that painful other when it was growing out. Still I feel your pain.

I've got the lot coming through at the moment with plenty of room to slot into. Every couple of months or so the bottom left one catches the back of my cheek though. The most pain I've experienced to do with teeth was with an evil Austrian dentist who was quite trigger happy with the drill and apparently oblivious to the concept of local anaesthetic.

Mine that was hurting really bad was pulled a week ago. It looked like a fang due to being in such bad shape since being so far back in my mouth. I think my sinuses cleared up a bit due to having it removed. My nose is usually runny all year round, but for past few days seems to clearer. It was my top right wisdom tooth. I had my other one pulled last year. In korea, it cost me only about $30 for the xrays, anesthesia, the pulling, medicine. It would have cost way more back in the states.

I remember getting all of mine removed a year or two ago. At first I was on the operating chair, and the next thing I knew, I woke up on my dad's chair with gum holes on all the corners of my mouth. Funny how anesthesia works huh?

Went under like 6 months ago to get all 4 taken out. They weren't angled that bad, or impacted or whatever, but my Dentist was worried about them in the future

That looks really, really fucking painful. Ouch D:

I've no wisdom teeth and there's no sign of any coming through soon. I don't think there's enough room in my mouth for one to come through without problems.

Yeah, wisdom teeth are shit.
At some point, it seems, they just decided that it was time to start growing sideways and getting stuck and making cysts and just generally trying to kill us. The fuck is up with that?

I had all of mine yanked when I was 18. The bottom ones were pretty close to breaking the gum line but the top ones were pretty much sideways and not even out of the bone yet. Luckily, they guy knew what he was doing and had some fantastic drugs. Everything healed well but stitches inside your mouth are strange. It's also hard to not play with them.

The two wisdom teeth on my right side grew in perfectly, but one on the left was a troll. The bottom left was growing in beside another tooth, pushing it out of place. The top left was taking so long to make an appearance, that I was starting to doubt it existed.

I had all four of them removed last month. One of my tonsils got infected two days after I had my teeth pulled. The infection was resistant to the antibiotics I was taking, so I spent over a week with a horrible fever. That made the recovery from the dental-work extra special.
