Since I, and many other people here, are actually doctors/dentists with years of experience, I'm going to go ahead and tell you you're fine. Don't worry about it. Pain after a week of this kind of procedure is perfectly normal.... /sarcasm

No wonder why my practice hasn't taken off yet. there is soo much competition >.<

It seems most people don't have the jaw problem like I'm having, but like I said, I think that's because I have a stupidly small mouth. So, I consider you fortunate. xD

MY dentist is a genius, and the pain went away within a day. Seriously, give your dentist a call and give them heigh ho. Shit's not supposed to hurt that long.

wait some people get given pain medication after they have them removed? huh I never got any ... that being said it was all rather smoothly done never felt a thing healed well and no pain of note at any point.

if you have a choice go with pulled not crushed and picked out piece by piece pulled is cleaner and faster also I got to keep the tooth. (Ive had 2 removed one each way)

maybe I was just lucky?.

I had pain for maybe three to four days after mine were taken out. They sticked up the holes with disolvable stitches, so they just went away after a while. I wasn't under general, I was in what they call twilight sleep, which is much less comfortable and far more disorienting. Obviously I couldn't feel my mouth when I woke up, but by the time I got back the pain was almost unbearable. Once I got some pain meds I just slept for like four hours.

But after that, besides having to take basic pain meds for a couple days, it went fine.
