Hey Kruxxor,

I was 23 when mine started coming through. Just wanted to tell you something nice. I didn't know what it was and when I had massive swelling and infection in my jaw I thought it was an abscess and went to a doctor first.

He just looked at me funny and said "It's in your mouth, we have a special kind of doctor that specialises in that area. We call them dentists."

So I went to dentist and all he had to do was file down the tips of my back teeth so there was room for the wisdoms to come through, it tingled. You may have just as pleasant an experience.

Although like you said, paying was painful. Not really I think it was only £50ish. Slightly more than a game for not being in constant feverish agony was a bargain.

Good luck.

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, unfortunately I had some kind of bad reaction and for a week I looked like a chipmunk and was sore as hell...

most wisdom teeth come in in odd ways. two of mine were growing parallel to my gums, so they were kinda sideways.

anyway you should go see a dentist, the best thing is if you don't want the teeth, just tell them you don't care about saving them and it might make things a bit better for you. if you want to keep them they can make you swell up more cause they have to do extra things to save your teeth.

on the plus side you get some really good drugs. also get yourself some frozen peas and frozen corn to stick on your mouth after and ice it down for several hours. not sure what they are called in the UK but freezies, the popsicles in a plastic bag, are great for the swelling cause you can refreeze them AND eat them after

Pro tip: See a dentist, quick. I got my 4 wisdom teeth removed in one surgery, recovered in a day, never had any real pain that a Dafalgan couldn't fix.
I got Oxycontin......mmmmmmmmm, Oxycontin. Let's just say I watched a marathon of Monk while floating on a cloud made of sex and titties.

Heya guys. My wisdom tooth is coming through, but there's a slight problem. My gum is partially covering the tooth and it hurts like hell. It kept me up most of last night, I woke this morning and my face was swollon. It hurt so much this morning I couldn't eat breakfast.

Speaking to some friends, they recommended different things. So far today I have taken Ibuprofen, put a paracetamol next to the tooth and dapped it with Clove Oil. The pain has subsided for now, but obviously this is a temporary solution.

Are there any ways I can remove or push the gum back without causing myself serious injury? I was thinking of using a stanely knife, but I think that would be too messy.

I'm 22 and I haven't had a dentist since I was 14.

Cheers guys.
Wow, I had the same thing, luckily, it's an easy surgery. Go to a dentist for it, cutting them off by yourself wouldn't be the best option. Maybe took a few minutes for me, they just take a surgical knife and cut them off (With some numbing before-hand of course). (The sooner the better, your teeth will FESTER under those things.) It's best to get wizdom teeth removed, as they commonly cause crowding. Not sure what the price is, but since it's easy, probably not much.

I didn't need to see a dentist about my wisodm teether, they came through fine. But all the same even if its just the gums hurting because they are coming through a dentist can cut your gums in a way that makes them come through with no extra problems.
