Well I guess I have to borrow my friends copy of Dragon Age, considering I sold mine...damnit.

About time this came out though, I for one hated Morrigan with a passion, and will enjoy ending her life should this DLC give me the opportunity, and it better.

really hoped this would be a major plot in the upcoming game, but now we know that a total fail for dao2, held out some hope it would maybe get back to the main quest in dao3, but now they going to release a 7 dollar dlc that will probably be short, way too short after all the time most players spent with morrigan and the important part she played in most peoples games wether or not you took her up on her offer or not.

i just hope that is it not wholly generic so it toes the line of being vague to the point of stupidity. and i really hope this is not final closure for this arc in either case because it seemed like a major decision, giving a questionable witch a old gods soul trapped inside a child to save your ass or the ass of one of your team, that is a mighty power she could use for good or evil, and to have it as one of the more difficult decisions in dao seemed it warrented another full game to give it the play out it deserves. if it ends in a 45 min dlc it will be just another indicator that bioware is not going to revisit our warden in dao in any of the remaining games.

Am I the only one pissed off by this? Major plot points and stories released piecemeal as DLC? Thanks but no thanks, I'll just youtube this after its released.

Im curious more about the NO BABIES choice more. Because my main "canon" character refused her (mostly cause I wanted Alistair to tragically die instead of letting the love of his life sacrifice herself)

Interesting. Very interesting. Still, I din't know whether it will fit in with my own story. My Warden refused Morrigan's advances, and gladly accepted Alistair's offer to sacrifice himself in killing the Archdemon. Going after Morrigan now would have next to no meaning for the Warden now. Still, I'll pick it up later. I might even jump back to a previous save and impregnate Morrigan, just to give this final storyline more gravitas. It sounds like an exciting end to the story.

Anyway, I'll stick with "Lair of the Shadow Broker" for now. I just hope that they don't reveal too much. The potential Shadow Broker plot twists could be awesome in Mass Effect 3.

Maybe somebody's pointed this out earlier, and sorry possible DA:O spoilers.......

.....but has anyone considered that Morrigan might become 'Flemeth' or at least Flemeth takes over her body. I think its revealed in the 'Flemeth's real Grimoire' quest, that is how she has stayed alive so long.....by stealing other people's babies and raising them as her daughters to inhabit the bodies. The actress Kate Mulgrew (flemeth) has been confirmed for DA2. So she is there....just HOW????

I mean the main load up screen (pc) has this white haired witch that is morigan-ish, with a rave-girl haircut.....that character is NOWHERE in the entirety of the game.......that absence is essential for who i believe 'origins' is really telling the beginning of

I can see this being a disapointment but in the most awesome way possible.
THIS MAY BE SPOILERIFIC SO BE WARNED
Although all of this could change this is what I've learnt so far. Dragon Age 2 partially takes place at the same time as Origins, Hawke is apparently is a refuge from Lothering (the village that you visit early in Origins but is quickly destroyed) so he is not Morrigans son as far as we know.
Also since Dragon Age 2 has been announced and Flemeth is featuring in it, wouldn't it be feasable that Morrigan one of the most popular characters of Origins will also make an appearance?
Morrigan has always been a loose canon and no matter what her feelings for the Warden she has always done what is in her interests.

My best bet would be that you confront Morrigan at the very end of this DLC but all those wanting her to confess her love to the PC and then run away together with the child and live happily ever after will be very disapointed. You'll most likely meet her get a little bit more information out of her maybe even a true confession of her feelings before she runs off again. That is why this will be a bit of a disapointment not because it's a bad DLC, because the player almost certainly won't get what they wanted out of the encouter.
