Witcher 2: practicing my spin spin spin style

I haven't perfected the style yet, but it's starting to come together.

It is based around the 4-hit spin, but with a few quickslashes thrown in there.
In particular, due to the speed of the attacks, it usually has priority when you and your target are both attacking simultaneously

Finally, adding the whirl talent makes this style ... amusing ...
Particularly nice with a sword enhanced with 3x fire runes (since incineration also acts as crowd control).

That looks pretty awesome! How do you make the 4-hit spin come out? It looks like it's when you do a light attack when you're some distance away and facing them with your right side - is that right?

Yep, pretty much.

Usually, I execute it by angling the screen so my target is a little to the right, press W+A, and soon as Geralt starts moving I click LMB.

Ok, got to level 10, and picked up Whirl talent (1/2)
Also, made a superb silver sword.

Result ... nekkars get pwned so hard buffs are completely unnecessary.

I've also been using the spin on Endregas, and I found that you can immediately follow up the spin with a heavy attack for some nice damage.

Unfortunately, the spin is not as useful on foes that parry ... unless they're affected by some form of crowd control, of course.

You'll find it's not as effective against foes that parry your attacks .. so ... err, you may have to throw a bomb or something first.

Ok, sure ... I could have used Quen and taken no damage during these fights, but hey ... I was starting to get overconfident.

This is the result of all my practice .. incorporating it into my favourite (magic) build.
And the boss Harpy is supposed to be hard ... dunno why people keep saying Quen is OP ... clearly Igni is the most powerful sign.
