I'm pretty sure everyone has done this sometime during their time gaming. It's either the story is getting a bit lackluster, or it's at a quiet moment, or it's just normal average battle routine...and you just feel....you should add your own witty banter, and story to the game, making a bit more silly and enjoyable along the way. I have 2 examples of this, just to get the idea into your heads of what I'm saying.
The first one is when my friend happened to come over with his 360 and decided to show me/play some Modern Warfare 2. Not having that much knowledge of the game besides from what I had acquired here, I followed along as normal, until I notice that blood on the screen somewhat looked like strawberry jam. So from that point on, the mission became know as "Soap MacTavish and the Quest for Toast", we looked high and low, fighting off many enemies, we even encountered Captain Price, but alas, no Toast was found.. =[
The second was during my long trek through Final Fantasy 10, where somehow, Tidus acquired a Barry White-esqe voice, and tried to get into the pants/dress of every man/woman he came across on his epic journey.
