Wolfenstein- worth my bucks?

The first review has come in on the new Wolfenstein game. And after alot of blah blah blah, it basically boils down to this:

Behind a veil of occultism hides a pretty bland first person shooter with dull cut-scenes and a boring story.

Is there no magic left in the Raven Software team? Or is the reviewer an angry old fart who fails to appriciate a good fps and can't find his ass with both hands..?

Wolfenstein won't be the first on my list of games to get this fall... How about you?

Assassins Creed 2
Dragon Age
Splinter Cell:Conviction
Aion
Rock Band: The Beatles
Borderlands
Gran Turismo 5
Halo 3:OSDT


And others which i can't remenber right now, yeah Wolfenstein isn't worth the price. Unless you a die hard fan and none of the games above interest you.

I've read mostly positive reviews, but I'd say to wait for it to go down in price and get it summer next year when the game releases stop.

Just do what I do check reviews, look at your options, rent the game, and then maybe buy it.

i've got that game, like most others play easy first (see if its worth the effort for harder)

4 hours later, story finished, yeah not got all the gold and intel ect, but finished the story, end credits and have to start a new one.

it is a good game, just a bit short, might be longer on hard but still not loads of missions.

It put me to sleep and I didn't play it. My friend did and it was boring. Return to Castle Wolfenstein is better.

It looks okay in gameplay videos. Read a few other reviews online - if they all say something similar, then they're likely right. If there's a demo, download that and see what it's like.

Id rather wait and go for the other FPS games coming out.
