Marvel really expects us to invest in the whole 'Wolverine gonna die' thing after bringing back Bucky Barnes, mind you, and Jean Grey for the umpteenth time. They really expect us to believe Marvel is gonna drop who is their biggest and most popular character?
I heard from the guy at my comic chop that Marvel is deliberately paring down its mutant roster, in terms of books published and in terms of character, as part of a guerrilla war against Fox. Apparently Fox's license rights for the X-Men includes a piece of all mutant merchandising and whatnot, so Marvel, backed by Disney's money, is trying to starve Fox out by denying them as much income as possible so Fox will make so little money on the property they won't bother renewing their contract and the movie rights will revert to Marvel. This, I am told, is why Marvel is now pushing the Inhumans (also why Marvel is doing so little with the Fantastic Four and is using the Guardians of the Galaxy as their flagship cosmic team).

So while Wolverine will obviously come back, from what I hear, this is going to stick until Fox relents and gives Marvel their characters back.

I thought Peter Parker revealed his identity. So I don't see why he would teach in spandex.
He sold his marriage to the Devil (Mephisto) to revert that because Aunt May got shot and nobody could heal her.

Its all rumor/speculation at this point, but the evidence definitely points to this being the case. It makes sense in the long run, but in the short run its a pretty dick move to fans of the X-men and Fantastic Four.

Guidance counsellor!? Did Wolverine actually do that job? Did he sit down with kids and looked at career options and what courses they should take? That is more unbelievable than his only choice for a replacement being Spider Man
Depends who the writer was. In some books, he'd point out to a surprised student that he's pretty damn old and has seen the world 100 times over, so his advice is pretty good. In other books, he's the counselor for problem students and counsels them with his tough love.

Yes, Capcha, that applies to the first thing.

Yeah, but Disney is not in the habit of shutting up and being nice when there's a profit to be had, so I think we are probably stuck with this dick move.
