(WHY CAN'T I EVER GET A HIT! >.<) Sacri threw the diamond infront of the oncoming Sev, so that it would hit like a mace shot out of a cannon, and outright shatter anything below the armor piece it hit. It was aimed at Sev's head, Sacri then walked over to Ark, and calmly put a hand on her shoulder, offering his shoulder to her once he'd sat down "C'mon now, Miss. The Book is wise, and if you know not a way to help your boy, then we may travel to the nearby Keeper monastery, where they will help us on my command."

do you know how difficult it is to kill off an emotionally invested character and create a new one from scratch, on top of existing mental problems like suicide? not very easy. by no means i'm not throwing out the sympathy card but i am playing its not the AA throw away character thread.

"He's no longer with us. look at me!" gesturing to the newly changed form.

"the reason he was so skinny was because i was in him, and the reason i looked the way i did before was because he was in me. he gave his life protecting me, he just dissolved in-front of my eyes." she was choking up at this point.

The Keeper monastery would have a legit revival spell, I was thinking. Depending on whether you WANT the Boy to be back, and to be fair, that's how Sacri would react anyway.

rubbing her back and nodding "He valued you. Note it." The words sounded cold, but the tone was supportive and respectful. Sacri respected the kid's sacrifice, when he took out his notes kit and set it down on the rock infront of them, the fire having long moved past where they were and it's edges were dying down. Sacri sketched the Kid for her, and ripped the page out, on the back was nothing, but a simple symbol with "Kid" written neatly below it, and the sketch was very good. Sacri held the page to her, obvious what he was doing "This is yours, now." Sacri continued to rub Ark's back and his face had gone from completely unreadable to calm respect whenever he looked at the picture

better off dead sadly, more room in the body for her powers.

"Thank you, but no mortal could ever understand what it felt like. i held his soul in one of my hands while it disappeared." She took the picture. "Thank you again. i think i'll take a nap now" and she collapsed backwards, hitting the ground from the nights excursions.

Catching her and letting her down slowly, he let her use his pack as a pillow and tossed a fleece blanket he used over her

"I'm a Keeper. I understand things I don't even want to."

 

[Kasten]

Sacri managed to gather Ark together and get her on his back without putting her in too uncomfortable a position and walked all the way to the other girl, holding his hand out to Sunny again when he arrived, looking at Fran "I don't know of you, I'm Sacracrier. And you?"

 

[Kasten]

Sacri set the (presumably) still sleeping down, set down a cloth, his pack as a pillow, and a blanket over her, and sitting down at her side in the same meditative pose, the fight on a whole had left the area charred, but he seemed unchanged. Business as usual.

A small dome of shadows formed over Ark, the rest of the shadows in the area seem to drain and become lighter. She was using the shadows to regain energy. it would be a few minutes before she was back awake again.

 

[Kasten]

Sacri was writing in his notebook at a pace that made his hand look like a blur.

The dome disappeared and Ark was in a sitting position with her staff at her lap.

Ark put her hand against her head "By the Goddess, how long was i out?"

 

[Kasten]

"Few hours maybe" Sacri checked his watch "Yeah, a few hours, You alright?" Sacri looked up from his notebook, pausing his writing

"Better, still upset but time will heal it. Thanks again. How far'd he fly?" she got up and braced herself with thee staff.

 

[Kasten]

"Farther than I bothered following. Way out of our way for the foreseeable future." Sacri went back to writing, though he still spoke.

She surveyed the landscape and spotted Sunny with Fran. a grin crept across he face. she limped over to them. "sleeping beauty's regained consciousness, how are you two?"
she looked back at Sacri "We make a pretty good tag team don't we?"

 

[Kasten]

"In terms that your massive use of magic distracts them enough for me to turn them into soup, yes."

Sacri finished his notes, and stashed away his book and pen again

"I knew you'd come around you old coot." she said chuckling.

 

[Kasten]

"You're just jealous I'm prettier than you Miss." Sacri made a dismissive handwave

"Good, I won't have to use my healing knowledge. It's always bad when it's needed." Sacri nodded to the two women.

 

[mcpop9]

"No problem, i'm here now for the better or worse. Also that giant pile of rocks." she points towards them "was a large stone golem. another thing happened.. but i'd rather not talk about it now." sighing she sat down. "She wouldn't have needed the healing magic, all i did was reposition her mind for a short while, if any healing was needed it would have been your fist."

 

[Kasten]

"I never planned to attack either of them. I meant, I'm glad neither was injured in the crossfire, Miss." Sacri watched her with a slightly raised eyebrow at her assumption of malice in him

 

[mcpop9]

"You misunderstood me, i was meaning that what i did to Fran wouldn't have required healing but yes i see your point that healing would have been necessary if they had been in the crossfire but they weren't. i also never intended to mean for you to attack them." she looked back at Fran "you are a very naughty girl, some of the things going though your mind even i had never envisioned."
