Yay to the 25+ women gamers!

Being one of this group, I am shocked at how many of the posters (especially at the beginning of the thread) are making "granny" jokes. Since when is 30 considered "grandma age"? For those of you who are still in your teens, 30 is NOT OLD! (Come-on people, back me up here!)

I have a lady friend who is 30.
She is old. I am sorry, but while you may not be "old" to some people, you are simply too old for my tastes.

Which means I would consider you an adult, which means...
Probably that I would be extra-mean to you.

I just find it sad that being an adult, my life has hardly started, and I am already being called old! (and I am not quite 30 yet to clarify, but that milestone is coming up too fast!) I feel like I am being categorized with people in their 50's (aka parent's age) and I am deff not! Geeze, I am not even done with college yet! I can't be an adult for real! ::grin::

Where did you get the crazy idea that you die before the age of 60?!? Personally, I plan on inventing a gene therapy to make myself live to be at least 200 (immoratlity would be boring) and failing that, I believe that the average age of death now is around 85 (and a few years higher for women). Thinking about how the first 30 or so years of my life was wasted growing (0-12 years) and then doing stupid things (13-19) that I am excited to finally be able to be living (as soon as I graduate). Aren't you anxious to get out on your own and live your own life, making your own decisions?

And shower with 10% bleach, it is the most effective concentration for killing microbes.

Anyway, I'll think about it.

At one point in the movies, It blatantly rips off the Pit and The Pendulum, but with all of the subtlety gone and showing a man's intestines being ripped through as he screams in pain because there is another device breaking his fingers, and I couldn't help giggling like a maniac, only to find people staring at me... In summation, you will learn new things by watching these movies... Like that somehow you might find gratuitous violence awkwardly hilarious for some reason.

I think living past 60 would be excellent, especially if medical advances meant I wasn't basically confined to my house!
Unfortunately, nobody in my family lives that long.

Also, immortality would not be boring. It'd be like playing an MMO without the grind - constantly changing content, places to explore, friends to make, etc.
