Dude, I've had dreams where I've slaughtered children, where I've had sex with my sister, and where I've started buttfucking a dude because there were no girls around. I wouldn't be worried.

And what the fuck is supposed to be a "normal" dream anyway? You're not really expecting the projections of your roiling subconscious to follow any societal, logical or scientific rules, are you?

Firstly, dreams don't always have meaning and when they do, it's not nearly as opaque as people tend to think. Likely thing is you're just a bit horny. It's completely normal.

Personally I very rarely have any dreams with other people in them (or at least remember them)- The only times I can tell you I dreamed about a woman was after I'd been broken up with and emotions were running high. Makes sense: I longed for something, so I dreamed about it. The same is true for you, but it's certainly not unhealthy for young guys to have a lot of dreams about sex.

Well if you're obsessing about it both in and out of dreams there is likely a problem. Otherwise just weird if it's a recurring theme. The existence of a problem really depends more on stuff out of dreams. At most it's worth thinking about what it might reflect out of dreams, but even then a dream is just something to think on,

The most recent one I had I swear was something out of a ScyFy movie. The women on Earth were getting replaced by healthier, hotter, more...uh, devoted versions I'll say? And even people who wouldn't have had a chance with women that attractive were getting lucky, but no one seemed to notice. And then about a decade past and it was noticed that no male babies were being born...and then aliens like male Asari showed up and revealed that they had secretly been replacing the women of Earth with genetically altered and specifically bred versions of another client race in their Empire that could ONLY have female babies of their own race and that if Humans wanted to keep existing and to have male babies born again they have to submit to their Empire, or face extinction - or eradication if we attacked the women they had replaced OUR women with. No one really tried to resist.
You're right, that is like some kind of sci-fi story. I'm almost tempted to steal it.

Honestly, I'm impressed your dreams make such narrative sense, I have difficulty remembering mine unless I go to a particular effort to and even when I do, they're generally a garbled mess of things like work, family, friends, interests, the Escapist (not joking about that last one) without any sort of structure. When messed up stuff happens in my dreams (Huh, that person has a penis and a vagina now?) my mind doesn't even bother with an explanation, it just rolls with it :-D

What I would interpret from your dreams is that you are lonely and would really like to find a female partner. I would also say that you probably have low self esteem since the women are always given to you and not actually attracted by your personality or looks or what have you. I wouldn't say that it's necessarily that you only see women as objects, but rather that you want something and your dreams are giving it to you in the easiest way conceivable. This doesn't mean that if you were in a relationship you wouldn't find more to like about her than her body. Or maybe it does, who can really say but you. If you believe that women are more than objects, and are disturbed by your dreams, you could use this as an opportunity to reinforce your beliefs. When you think of those dreams, or relationships, try to associate them with more than just sex, think of the companionship, sharing of interests, emotional support, etc. that a relationship can bring. If you are worried enough about the apparent themes of your dreams, you probably won't allow yourself to actually treat women as objects. Just stay conscious of it.

Off topic, I thought that you had said that the women in your dreams were universally really hot and attractive, but then I opened your spoiler and it was like: blaaaaghhgh!

I'd say that it's probably a reoccurring fantasy that you enjoy having and is constantly playing in your dreams (I went to the NSFW zone, so I'm more than convinced that that's what's going on).

In all honestly, though, I often daydream about having different types of fictional women as girlfriends/wifes. I figured that it's my desire to have a meaningful, committed, and intimate relationship with a woman, since I've never had one of that nature. I never let it obsess or rule my life and I don't dream, so there's a break from them. Typically, these daydreams will disappear after a few days, so it isn't a serious condition. I've also never turned down a real woman because I was daydreaming about a fictional one at the time.

Oddly enough, I've never paired myself with any of the women in my fictional works; I wonder why?

The only weird thing about this is the way your last dream has the women of Earth being replaced without anyone noticing... even though they look like that..

Pretty sure everyone would be noticing the anomaly..

I'm of the opinion that dreams don't mean anything particularly significant, and that it's a bad idea to take them seriously in any way. If they were supposed to indicate anything useful, why would we have evolved a specific mechanism that makes us forget them as soon as we wake up? Probably because the creatures that remembered and learnt from them were quickly and violently removed from the gene pool... [footnote]"Oh boy, a lion! I bet he's just as friendly as that giant purple one I met last night!"[/footnote]

If something is on your mind it's certainly more likely to appear in your dreams, but that doesn't mean anything useful either. It's entirely possible that the only reason this scenario keeps popping up is that you've been thinking about how this scenario keeps popping up. So... Don't worry about it?

Also I'm pretty sure all of that Freudian stuff with dreams being about fulfilling suppressed desires has been abandoned by modern psychologists, along with almost everything Freud said for that matter.

Oh this looks to be an interesting thread
look before I say anything more I think it is a bad idea to ask this of us. asking a bunch of random stranger to psychoanalysis you could just mess you up. As a whole i think you are looking for validation, which is perhaps why those women are so devoted to you. Devotion does imply a reason to do so, respect, admiration and so on. thought that's neither here nor there anyway for all we know they are just wet dreams, uh well that's an unpleasant thought when i think of it.
the irony of the above statement is palpable

Its the frequency and the fact that they're virtually the only kind I have of women that gets a little worrisome at times.
Dude it's your unconscious mind, it's just kinda like that.
worrying just makes it stronger man, you don't fight those thing to fight them you just kinda embrace, (and kick the shit out of it) it as a part of you or it's just going to be driving you nuts all your life.

look man if you really want to get to the bottom of this, just record your dreams.
Handle this empirically, record all of your dreams, look at people's interactions, look at there actions, look at the symbols and look for the things that feel right

The thing is, as much as the profession keeps trying to banish his works...his explanations keep working just enough at the wrong (right?) times to keep him from being pushed away.

You've been watching too many magical girlfriend anime. Or possibly hentai parodies of magical girlfriend anime.
