When no one buys something because it's too expensive, the price drops until they do.

In an ideal market, yes, but there isn't one. Sometimes if nobody will buy something the company will stop making it, even if lowering the price was a viable option, because they don't deem it a worthwhile venture with a smaller margin. Sometimes if something doesn't sell, a bullheaded company will just keep the price where it is, because they're either unaware or unwilling to let stock go for less.

Thank fuck that Tyenol is pretty plentiful per bottle because women (unless they are the no meds, hardcore pain tolerance types.) probably spend more on the stuff than the average person without chronic pains.

....You know what, once pain becomes that bad...It's gonna take more than OTCs to keep me satiated.

I always found it funny that when people joke about women and periods the idea behind the joke is that the woman's hormones are making her moody. But for some women periods can be pretty painful. There are a ton of random side effects associated with periods that pretty much make it so that the woman may as well be sick. And sick people can get pretty moody. I mean yeah for some women its her hormones, for others she has a migraine, or cramps, or mucle soreness and to top it of she's bleeding. So fuck yeah she's moody cuz she still has to go to work but would rather be at home hopped up on pain meds and wrapped in an electric blanket.

I'd take mood swings over cramp pains any day of the week. Although I heard that's technically not natural and might mean I have endo- something illness where the wrong type of lining is being created.

But yeah I got the most painful ones with the worst flows. So for me on my periods I just feel kind of dirty all day and in the mood for not doing anything. I ALWAYS remember to carry an extra dose on me in case it wears out half way at a place I can't get it.
So fucking lay it on me you know. I'll take my Ibuprofen and Tyenol (at responsible intervals) if it keeps it at bay.

But at the end of the day I don't really act any more irrational or shitty to the rest of society. I can keep it totally under control, and unless we specifically state we are on our period most people won't fucking know. So that stereotype is kind of annoying. Like really annoying. Most people wouldn't be in the best of moods when a part of your body is shedding and it feels like someone is taking a fist inside your vagina and playing morbid putty with it.
