Hooray, more Pokemon threads!
I'm questioning what my favorite new feature in X and Y are, but I honestly think it might be wonder trades. I don't know why, but I just love sending people cool pokemon. And when they give me a "Nice!" afterwards? Feels great, man.
Some people are complaining about it, though. They see it as a "request Weedle" button. I think it's more about giving than receiving personally. You send someone the gift of a good pokemon, and maybe, if you're lucky, you get a good gift back.
It's gotten to the point where I go out of my way to catch every rare and/or version exclusive pokemon I see, just so I can send them off. And you can bet your sweet bippy that when I find a Ditto I'm sending out waves of starters and fossil pokemon. Even though I don't really want anything in return, it was still awesome getting a Kabuto and a Charmander. Would have been even more awesome if I hadn't picked Charmander at the start, but still...
So, what do you think of wonder trading? Is it better for random acts of kindness, or getting ripped off? Get anything cool? Give anything cool?
