As I was running my D&D game, one of my players who is my age and I were talking, and we both expressed a feeling of accomplishment by using the word woot. We were all the same age at the table except for this one guy who we choose to play with who's like 19. He expressed disdain at our use of the word.
This got me thinking, do you still use woot as an expression? Did you ever? How do you feel about it?

Well, my mother who is fast approaching age 70, has adopted use of the word. I think this means it is officially uncool.

I still use it occasionally, and by extension, it seems to have been picked up by various members of the family.

Never really considered it one of those "cool or relevant" issues. Just a word to express mild excitement.

I tend to only use when accomplishing something geeky/nerdy, it doesn't seem right to use it in another situation
