Has anyone ever heard anything about or tried one of those websites that supposedly offer you the opportunity to work at home? I came across a few of them while looking through job ads in the paper, and I was curious as to how they claimed you could earn money by entering data and sending it to them.

I paid a visit to a few of these sites, only to find that they want you to send them money so they can "get you started" with some professional coaching on how to start your own business or some bullshit.

I don't suppose anyone's happened to come across a legitimate site that allows you to earn a reasonable amount of money (as opposed to the "earn $300 in unlimited cheques!" crap), by writing articles/entering data/menial typing-related stuff. Anyone have any experiences with this kind of thing?

These sites are generally the ones that give you viruses if you so much as look at them funny, and they tend to lure in the gullible by way of a fake news site.

How this is legal I'm not sure, but don't trust them.

A site you can trust, however, is the largest provider of large balls to the Eastern United States.

You can always apply for a job at ChaCha.

Oh wait, you said a REASONABLE amount of money. 2 cents per answer doesn't really count huh. Though the amount of absurd drunken questions you have to answer can make it enjoyable.
