World of Warcraft - Cataclysm? Alpha Test...Is this real?

I just checked my email a minute ago, and apparently I "have been selected to participate in the alpha test of World of Warcraft®: Cataclysm?.

....Has anyone else gotten this? Is this legit? I would really like to know before I open anything like this after the stories I've heard.

Any answer would be appreciated.

No. it's not real. Well, unless you happen to have friends or family who work at Blizzard entertainment, but then they'd probably mention to you that you'd be getting an Alpha invite.

It's likely a phishing e-mail to try to get your account details.

Alpha tests are internal or "Friends and Family" at best, so unless a very good friend or family member works for Blizzard and is part of the WoW team, it won't be legit.

Well, considering I only tried the Ten Day Free Trial, and don't know anyone associated with Blizzard personally, I guess it's not real.

Ya I got it to. The stupid idiots who sent it made one cruical mistake though. They sent it to the Email Account I never listed. I suppose you got it on MSN?Well I only listed my Aim email in my account. Anyway I'm gonna call Blizzard tommorrow to report the Email and hope they get the news out that is actually a fake.

It's fake, I got the same email and the link takes you to a 110mb site, it's a scam...
