I have a rather generalized opinion, so my arguement probably wont work too well. Even so, one inevitability to the world is the fact that we seem to be incapable of giving everyone on the planet everything they need/want. Lack of food/water/whatever-else-people-need in countries around the world has caught the concern of some people and organizations have been formed in hopes of change, but in some cases, similar situations are getting nowhere.
For example: Recently, there has been a fundraiser at my school to build two schools in Sierra Leone. There is a lot of great thought put into this idea, but with a civil war involving child soldiers going on there, isnt it just going to be torn down eventually anyways? The movie Blood Diamond comes into thought...
Back to the topic of resources, what are we going to do with water? I really dont think I need to go into this topic very far, it seems to be rather straight-forward. On another topic, i've heard some people say that the sole reason for the war in Iraq was for oil. I would really prefer to not talk about that, since its a rather delicate topic and its already been done before. But, if it was true, then its probable that similar situations will happen for water, and maybe trees, so on, so forth.
