World War 1 game

Never would I pick up a title on WWI you could not portay any of the real terror of the war while still having a fun game, nor is it a war that ever deserves to be given the medal of honour bs treatment *america rocks blow up everyone else wooo*

Half the war was sitting in holes staving off trench foot, dissintry and getting bossed around by the upper class while getting shelled to shit and back sounds fun.

Certainly part but not the only aspect by far. It was a very complex situation which evolved to a world catastrophe. The weapons caused major reform and transition and formed modern warfare as we know it. The game shouldn't glorify the conflict but rather give the experience of those incredibly massive offensives and the fast and furious combat of trench melees.

You also seem to forget that all wars have plenty of waiting and inactivity along with conditions for illness and injury. No game can portray the real horror of war.
