The convoy was getting closer to the Blue base as John Maned the machine gun getting ready to fight
'I hope that one blue gets the hell out of here'
the convoy was getting ready to turn on the street that the Truck went down there where sounds of guns clicking
"hey Jason i almost fogot there is a radio set in the back take it you may need it" richard told him
Jason grabed the radio headset and put it on and he started hearing the orders barked out
"get ready"
that was the one word that stood out they where getting closer as Jasons heart felt like it was goign to burst out of his chest he double checked his machine gun and got ready
Farley stared at the robot dog as it emerged from the back of the truck. It's body was built of bolts and gears, and it's eyes were like giant camera lenses. No, they were giant camera lenses. It stood almost as tall as her, which was big for a dog.
"That robot is yours?" he asked, pointing at it, his brows furrowed. "Why does it need the shiny blue ball? Does it eat those?"
Rose rolled her eyes, exasperated. "Yes, in a way, it eats those." She had been lucky; while she had been born more disfigured physically than mentally, she had been able to outfit herself with legs that were far better than any she could have made of true flesh. Dealing with other Blue Eyes, the 'simpler' ones, was a troublesome affair.
Ica leaped down from the truck, causing it to rock back and forth again. After casting a long gaze at Farley, the dog-machine trotted over to Rose, his head high in excitement. At least someone's glad to be here.
"He's been inactive for a long time- but that orb will keep him running for even longer. And I wouldn't bother trying to get that orb out of him." Ica opened his mouth casually, revealing a long row of jagged teeth. Deep in his throat, a tube of what might have been a gun barrel could be seen.
the convoy stoped it wasn't far from the Main base but far enough to not be noticed if they weren't being looked for. soon the reason for this was clear
"We are going to go in on foot the troop transports are to easy of a target " with thats the Transports where Emptyed except for the Drivers who turned the transports to form a sort of a wall for a base the 3 transports made a perfect temporary out post with the suplly veical in the center and the Jeeps Formed a gate towards the blue eyes base.
as the troops spilled out he saw a teenager no older that 16 walking towards the suplly truck
Jason got out of the Rear guard jeeps and went over to the Child
"listen kid stay with that jeep" he pointed to the one with richard in it who just nodded
the kid looked at Jason before going over towards the jeep He went towards the suplly truck and requested a vest and nothing else he had what he needed
after awhile the troops where all ready to fight some where scared others where Angry some where staying calm as the commander spoke
"listen troops its time to strike back and hit as hard as we can !" it was ussless borvado every one knew the man next to them was likely to die there as they started marching people had there guns out
Jason was some where in the wall wondering why the eagles where attacking against something that had not happened some thing was not Adding here and it was starting to wear on his mind thats why he sent the child to stay back so he could atleast help some one
as the collom of men grew near the compond it wad deathly still all it would take was a match
Farley gazed wistfully at the robotic canine, unsure of whether or not it was safe. "Hmmm. Yea, I think I'll leave it alone." He stared at it for a few more seconds. "So those blue shiny things, they give him power?"
She nodded, petting the dog on the head.
"Hmmm. That's interesting, I had never seen a power source like that." He started to turn back towards his work, then stopped. "Hey, what's your name, lady?"
As the force got closer the radio headset rang into his head
" use the rpg on the walls"
there was a commotion the group in the front pulled out the 3 rpgs and took aim at the wall and launched they punched a hole clean trough
"Attack" the command was simple But held a force behind it they started streaming in trough the hole taking advantage of the confusion and started shooting at any one that held a weapon or was in the Courtyard
Jason hadn't fired yet but made sure he was ready to fire all around him eagles and eyes where droping. an eye saw him and went to open fire but Jason was just a tiny bit faster and shot the eye who fell back .not sure if he was dead Jason . continued fighting shooting at enemys he had a clear shot at,Killing the eyes
the eyes had recovered quickly by the looks of it and where taking cover as the eagles where taking cover around the debree of the wall and all hell broke lose Jason saw some one aim at him and quickly aimed at the man fireing three times
"My name's Rose," she said calmly as the man began to turn back to his work. "And I already gathered that your name is Farley." She swallowed; apologizing was never easy. "I'm sorry for earlier, Farley- but I'm sure you understand, I couldn't let Ica here stay shutdown when power orbs were readily available. Hopefully that sign didn't leave too strong a mark." As she glanced over him, she realized that there was little injury to be seen. It seemed as though his disfigurement, his inordinately strong body, was both a blessing and a curse. Confident she was safe, though, she rest a hand on the canine's shoulder. She heard him reply by the sound of the turret gun positioned in his throat slowing to a halt.
Farley didn't seem keen to engage in conversation so, feeling a little better about her actions, turned to leave- but not before a thunderous bang shook the building.
Rose flinched and crouched instinctively, Ica following suit. The hanging lights at the top of the garage swayed back and forth, flickering. Uttering a curse, she reached to the holster still buckled over her shoulder and drew her pistol, inching toward the window again. She glanced outside, toward the courtyard, where a number of warriors with guns blazing marched forward. A hole had been blasted in a wall opposite them across the courtyard, in what was an entrance hall. As a group of armed men passed the window, she caught a flash of colour on their clothing.
"Reds!" she called just before an alarm began to ring, almost drowning her voice. She turned to Farley. "Reds attacking!"
With the alarm blaring and trough the gun fire he some how wound up inside the complex alone he reloaded his rifle the gun fire was imense as he walked down the hall clearing room from room making sure that no one was going to kill him to day.
He just opened a closet door when he heard the clatter of combat boots and then gunfire slaming into the door he ducked inside the closet. when the blues thought it was nothing they continued. he was lucky but how long would his luck hold out he sliped out of the closet. continued down the hall when an un armed woman attacked him thinking he was here to kill the children he Pushed her off. drew his gun but when he saw she was just trying to protect her children he shock his head and left.going into another room that had 4 guards he took care of them quickly. he reloaded his rifle again as he looked over the Controls for an elevator they where locked.
"we are getting out of here the attack force is being wiped out retreat " was all the radio said then
"Shit!" Farley yelled, diving off the chair and towards his truck, as all hell broke lose in the courtyard. BE's ran this way and that, grabbing whatever weapon was closest to them, the guards left on the wall firing down on the Eagle's who had just blown a hole in the wall.
He wanted to use his truck, but at the moment there were too many BE's in the courtyard to take the monster out there without crushing them. So for now, he'd have to settle for Ol' Bessy. He swung the door open and reached into the cab, pulled out his faithful old M249 Saw, and slung the lengthy ammo belt over his left shoulder. "Now you'll see, Rose, what real guns are made of!"he yelled over his shoulder, laughing as he ran up to the garage door and leaned out, raised the weapon up to chest level, and jammed down on the trigger.
At that moment, his accuracy didn't really matter, as the courtyard was full of targets. Most of he BE's had wisely retreated to the perimeter, taking shelter in the buildings and firing on the invaders in a C formation. So basically what Farley had was a large area full of enemies running across it, and he took grim advantage. Eagle after Eagle fell to the volley of his bullets as he strafed the courtyard, cutting down their legs as they ran. Sharpshooters and riflemen on the tops of the buildings and in windows took care of any he missed, while his fellow gun nuts laid down fiery hell from all the other angles of the courtyard. The Eagles were quickly forced back into a pocket, taking cover in the rubble from the wall.
"Haha, just in time!" Farley shouted as Bessy ran out of ammo. "Now it's time for the Beast! Hahaha!" he turned and ran back to his truck, flinging the door open and jumping inside. The engine rumbled to life as he started it up, then switched gears and roared backwards out of the garage, out into the middle of the courtyard. The massive hunk of steel ignored the bullets bouncing off it as it sat there, growling in idle, graffiti and plow-fangs gleaming like warpaint in the setting sun. Farley savored the feeling of ricocheting lead as the Eagles open fired on him, all their bullets doing nothing. After several seconds of horrendous dinging and danging, the fire settled down, and there was a lull, as the enemy soldiers peered over the rocks at the monster that had just entered their midst.
"My turn." he whispered to himself, then reached over and grabbed the set of controls to his right. The GAU-19 Minigun mounted on top swiveled to face it's adversaries, then open fired, the huge 99mm bullets tearing into the Eagle's sheltering place. It swerved back and forth, ravaging the rubble and stones, sending Eagle's scurrying for better cover. As they all ducked and hid under the might of his terrible gun, Farley laughed, reassured for the countless time that out here in this wasteland, might was the superior force.
He glanced down at the display, noticing that the ammo was about a fourth of the way gone. "Haha, it's clobbering time!" he shoved the gas pedal down, accelerating straight at the Eagle's. Laying down on the horn, he laughed as the vehicle plowed through the rubble, taking rocks, iron, and people with it, and ramped off the hole in the wall, landing in a cloud of dust outside the base. He continued another hundred yards and then turned, and began firing again, his minigun tearing at the Eagle's from behind.
I barely had to edit at all. It's nice when ninja' posts end up working out perfectly with the ones they ninja'd.
Shaking her head at Farley's vicious assault, she waved to Ica to follow and jogged out the garage after him. Rather than turn to the rows and rows of Eagles, she turned to the outer wall of the garage and placed her hands on the wall.
Raising her left leg, she tugged off her athletic shoe to reveal a white metal foot, sleek and in an ovular shape. It twisted so that the back of the heel faced straight downward, the sole of her robotic foot parallel with the wall. As she raised the foot to the wall, the magnetic draw increased dramatically, and stuck. Raising her other foot, it did the same, and in moments she was scaling the wall using windows and bars as hand grips. Ica followed suit, crouching low and climbing the wall like some bizarre metal spider.
When she reached the top, she peeked over the edge, lifting her head barely. Her targets had landed upon the roof from buildings nearby, trying to figure a way to enter through the vents and the best way to break through the windows by dropping by ropes over the edge. Raising her pistol, she managed to shoot one in the head, one in the base of the neck, and the other in the chest, dropping them all. Ica launched himself onto the roof and tackled the other two, metal claws springing from his paws, impaling one. The other was ravaged by his teeth, his shrieks quickly cut silent.
Rose pulled herself up onto the roof and gazed over the group of invading Eagles. She had a good vantage point. She waved to Ica, who trotted over eagerly.
"What'cha got for me, boy?" she asked as she noticed the hunk of metal in his jaws. "Is that an M4 carbine? Good boy!" After patting his head warmly, Ica dropped the gun, which she picked up and began to open fire upon the groups of Eagles, dropping them before they could determine where the shots were coming from. Ica stood with his legs spread wide, gripping the roof tightly, before opening his mouth. The sound of a turret whirring to life sounded from deep within his chest, before a wide spray of bullets exited his mouth, covering the courtyard in heavy fire.
Looked around the battle didn't seem to be going good just one more addition to the Pile of inconsitances today has brought Jason left the elevator room looking for a way out with out getting killed.
During his search He saw people either running one way or another Not paying him to much attention any guards that would be inside where outside killing more of the eagles.
every so often he would see a way out but there where gaurds waiting for any one to come in.
Jason soon found a stair case with a lock on it,the lock was an old chain with a pad lock which was rusted, he walked away if someone locked it from their own group who knows whats down there.
it was almost hopeless till he found the garage it was empty now so as he scaned it he saw 3 doors one he just came out of one to the outside and one on the other wall he quickly sprinted across and opened the door.
What he saw almost made him sick to his stomic there was a doctor disecting the courpses of Emrelds and Eagles the doctor saw him and went after him with a scaple he took a quick shot droping the doctor.
' this must be the Moruge'
he left the room quickly from the main door and found him self near a stairwell which lead Down and up despite his best intuition he headed downwards where the sun light barly pased in it was dark and hard to see.
"Shit" Red thought as he tried to load his mini-gun. In the excitment someone had accidentially droped a wrench in his minigun's ammo belt and it took Red a couple minutes to fish it out. By the Time he was done, Farley was driving his monster vehicle after the attackers.
When his mini-gun was finally loaded, Red jumped into his buggy's driver sheat and made sure his rifle behind him was fully loaded. With his final checks compleated, Red started his buggy and shot off in the direction Farlet went.
