World War Z: About time...

I was very recently putting around Google Images for some zombie picture inspiration.. and then BAM! I found concept art for World War Z... I mean the director of Quantum of Solace?! I mean, How bad could they butcher a book practically written like a script... I think it will do the zombie world a HUGE favor. Though, I'll be realistic and still hold the skepticism close. Shit happens... Anyone else's thoughts?

That. Picture. IS EPIC WIN.

The movie on the other hand, WILL be EPIC FAIL.

Its Hollywood. There will be cheesy romance subplots. It will become 'Over the top Action' which is good in small doses, Like the Battle of Yonkers but **SPOILER** lets not forget the army loses the battle **END SPOILER**

Like I said Its holloywood.... needless to say Ill go see this film anyway...... at least 16 times.... lol


EDIT: **SPOILER** Wait, remember! The army didnt garrison the buildings. I specifically rememebr the Yonkers Vet saying the Army screwed it up by not putting troops on the roofs and all that magical military Tactics stuff... ** Yeah, i know its just an image, And for tat its still EPIC WIN, but Please for the love of all things holy please stay true to the book...

The guy that wrote the book is Mel Brook's son, why doesn't he just make his own WWZ movie?

I hope to god Hollywood does not fuck up this book. But, well, after seeing what Hollywood can do with a lot of good things, maybe it will suck balls.

We can always hope for Peter Jackson to come along?

It is a good production company who are making it and the bidding war for the rights was quite epic!

personally i am quite excited about it. Sure it will never be as good as the book because the zombies there now live in your mind, however Im feeling optimistic.
