It's awesome, but it must be kinda noisy, I could never sleep with the sounds it would make.

That's one lucky kid, having a dad like that.
That was rather impressive indeed, I'd love one in my room.

That's neat for like 5 min and then you shut it off and never turn it on again because of how annoying it is.
This. The sounds get on my nerves and there is really no point in it.

Excellent stuff! This is inventive, clever and a sneaky-yet ingenious way to interest kids in mechanics and so on (my way was technic lego, it was my alternative to soft drinks in terms of an addiction!).

Praise must go to the father for his magnificent woodwork skills too and for generally being awesome.

It saddens me that certain folk here only see the negatives here. Sure everyone's entitled to their opinion but I just wish more people would see less bad and more good in things.

PS Although I admit that even the most cheerful optimist would struggle to find any good in reality TV

Not everything needs to have a point, besides just making someone happy. And as has been said, the kid does look pretty happy here.

Lighten up, misery guts. :D

Holy shit that's awesome.

It could only be better if it made him breakfest, and not shot you in the head.
