The easiest way to not get involved in that statistic is to not use Facebook.

I, personally, fail to see the downside.
This. So glad I deleted my account. I've never looked back.

Not that big a deal. I very rarely click links anyway and if there is any amount of activity on my account, it probably isn't me.

Hilarious, simply hilarious, now I have written proof of why not to use facebook.
...So what you're saying is that you're stupid enough to:
1) Get infected?
2) Fall for such an elaborate scam?

You might want to consider your next move )

Good thing i never give a shit what links people post on Facebook then.
Anything that looks like it should have been picked up by my spam folder on my e-mail account gets insta-ignored, especially if has the word "sex" and/or a whole bunch of exclamation marks somewhere in it.

Yeah, i doubt i'm in the danger-zone here so i'll just keep logging in once a day to see if any of the people i actually care about has done anything i should pay attention to.

I think you misunderstood me, I have never even touched facebook, and my friends are bewildered by it regardless of how I explain to them why I don't use it. I find this endlessly amusing because now my arguments have proof, in addition to the proff I already had.

If your friends start sending out a bunch of links, be extra careful. Don't let yourself wind up a part of this statistic.
Good thing I don't have any friends then.

People called me crazy for not having a Facebook, but it seems the glove is on the other foot now!

MUA HAHAHAHAHAha..haaa

That being said, a shame this is happening. Hopefully people remain aware and don't click random or suspicious links.

People have been warned for years not to use facebook, for security reasons. Yet the sheep continue to gather around the poisoned well.

Makes me glad that I hate facebook for admittedly stupid reasons. It's giving me better reasons to hate it.
